Get a Card
Library cards are issued to Churchill County residents of all ages at no charge.
A Nevada picture ID with Fallon address or a military ID is required.
If you do not have a Nevada or military ID, it is possible to obtain a temporary card with proof of address and out-of-state picture ID.
A parental signature is required for minor children. Parents must visit the library and show Nevada or military ID to obtain cards for children.
If you live in Nevada but not in Churchill County, you may be eligible for another Nevada Library Cooperative member library’s card.
Borrower Privileges
Most regularly circulated Library materials may be borrowed for a three-week period. DVDs may be borrowed for a one-week period.
No overdue fees are charged. Patrons may accrue fines when they check out items from other Nevada Library Cooperative member libraries.
Patrons will be charged current net replacement cost for a lost or irreparably damaged book.
Material may be renewed if the item does not have holds. Call the library or log in to your account and renew your items online.
Materials may be returned directly to the Churchill County Library during business hours or in the book drop at any time. They may also be returned at any other Nevada Library Cooperative member library.
All Library services are free except photocopies and computer printouts which are 10 cents a page.
Lost library cards can be replaced for $1.
